Upcoming Workshop: Throwing Slab Plates

Looking for a new technique to enhance your clay repertoire? Well look no further! On August Sunday August 9th, Lillstreet instructor Chris Chaney is presenting Throwing Slab Plates:

Learn a new twist on plate-making. Using thrown and handbuilt slabs, students will use both bisque and plaster hump/slump molds to create unique plate surfaces perfect for many styles of surface decoration. Ideal for the advanced beginner and intermediate student ready to take the next step.
